On the first day, a panel of judges, which included experts from the UAE, Egypt, and Iraq, watched four different performances. The first was from the Sharjah Scout Commission (A) and was titled "Each in an Orbit." This play focused on the journey of finding oneself and cautioned against comparing ourselves to others. It featured a conversation between a grandfather and his grandchildren, conveying the message that success comes from believing in oneself.
Next was "Be Careful... It's Just a Moment," presented by the Sharjah Scout Group (B). This serious performance depicted the consequences of reckless driving through the story of a man whose careless actions led to a terrible accident, resulting in the loss of limbs and paralysis, as well as constant nightmares.
Group C presented "Nightmare," a play illustrating the dangers of pursuing fame on social media and trends, showing how such fleeting moments can have serious repercussions. Finally, Group D ended the evening with "Road," which emphasized the risks associated with reckless speeding, especially among motorcyclists, and how ignoring good advice can lead to tragic outcomes.
All the performances showcased a mix of humor and serious themes, and they truly engaged the audience.
