Al Zafeen crowned champion
Aref Al Zafeen clinched the championship title after guiding boat number 33, Al Mashkhass, to victory with a total of 77 points, assisted by Yousef Al Sabouri. The boat Sinyar Marine, piloted by Saleh Mohammed Ali Al Shamsi and Hassan Ali Al Shamsi, finished second, while boat number 20, piloted by Khalifa bin Dhiban and Hamid bin Dhiban, took third place.
Final overall standings
Boat number 33 topped the overall standings with 77 points. Boat number 19, piloted by Mohammed Saeed Suhail with Ahmed Khamis as partner, placed second with 72 points, while boat number 20 finished third with 68 points.
Kilometre race results
Al Zafeen also claimed victory in the kilometre race alongside Yousef Al Sabouri. Majid Al Khalaf, partnered with Mohammed Al Hamri, secured second place, while Khalifa bin Dhiban and Hamid bin Dhiban finished third.
Preserving maritime heritage
His Excellency Ahmed Issa Al Hosani, Director General of Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, said the championship’s final round reflected its success in reinforcing authentic Emirati maritime heritage, noting that Al Zafeen’s achievement was the result of sustained effort and a high level of competition.
