The council will be delivered by Dr Baha’ Al Din Driss, who will present a structured academic analysis of the book, highlighting the virtues of specific days and months and their role in spiritual refinement, strengthening faith, and encouraging believers to make the most of blessed times and divine opportunities.
Sessions will explore Ibn Al Jawzi’s method of combining Quranic verses, Prophetic hadiths, and scholarly narrations with concise moral guidance, emphasising the importance of time in nurturing faith, elevating conduct, and deepening reverence for religious rituals.
The council will be held at Um Ayman Barakah Mosque in Muwaileh Commercial from 10 to 22 January, after the Isha prayer, with regular sessions except on Fridays. The programme is open to worshippers, students of knowledge, and members of the public.
Dr Majid, Secretary General of the Sharjah Islamic Forum, said, “These councils are a natural extension of the Forum’s role in advancing Islamic knowledge and helping people benefit from virtuous times in ways that positively influence individual conduct and social stability.”
