The forum brings together a wide range of international experts, researchers, and specialists in wildlife conservation and species protection, coinciding with the celebration of the forum’s silver jubilee, marking 25 years of continuous scientific contribution in advancing biodiversity conservation, knowledge-building, and regional and international cooperation to protect ecosystems across the Arabian Peninsula.

Focus on key environmental challenges

This year’s edition focuses on addressing key contemporary environmental challenges, with the participation of more than 180 experts and researchers from countries of the Arabian Peninsula, including Saudi Arabia, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Yemen, and Kuwait, in addition to participants from Jordan and a number of leading global scientific and research institutions.

The programme highlights several priority themes, foremost among them invasive alien species, regional capacity building, and strengthening proactive conservation approaches, alongside a dedicated focus on marine ecosystems, reinforcing the forum’s role as an influential platform contributing to shaping the future of nature conservation and supporting sustainable development goals.
