Dibba Al Hisn forum highlights youth role in family unity

Sharjah24: The Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, affiliated with the Districts Affairs Department, organised a youth forum in cooperation with Dibba Al Hisn Comprehensive Police Station to discuss family affairs and the role of young people in strengthening family cohesion. The session was attended by a group of officials, young people and parents interested in community issues.

Held under the title “The Family”, the forum covered several key topics, most notably the risks of online fraud and ways to protect family members. It also explored the role of youth in supporting family unity, promoting positive values within society, and the responsibility of parents in instilling constructive thinking and behaviour among family members.

 

Active participation and dialogue

 

The session witnessed strong engagement and constructive contributions from attendees. Participants included Council Chairman His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah Al Naqbi, Colonel Tariq Abdullah Al Ahbesh, Head of Dibba Al Hisn Comprehensive Police Station, and Fatima Al Tunaiji, a member of Youth Councils. The discussion was moderated by Abdulrahman Al Mushtaghil, Head of the Youth Council at Sharjah Police, who guided the dialogue and helped achieve the session’s objectives.

 

Empowering youth and strengthening cooperation

 

The forum aimed to raise community awareness of the family’s role in social cohesion, build effective partnerships between community and security entities, and empower young people to play a positive role in protecting families and society.
