Aisha Obaid Ghabesh, Head of the Events and Activities Committee for Sharjah Heritage Days, said the pavilion features a daily programme of traditional games and folk chants performed throughout the day. She noted that the stand has attracted strong visitor numbers, with many eager to explore what the Sharjah Heritage Institute offers for children, young people, and families, along with a competition programme held twice daily.
Speaking to "Sharjah 24", Ghabesh added that the pavilion has introduced a new feature in the 23rd edition of the festival: Majlis Al Asalah. The forum brings together craftsmen, representatives from different cultural environments participating in the event, and guests from across the Arab world to discuss family life, customs, and traditions in an open and engaging setting.
Sharjah Heritage Days continues until February 15 under the theme of "The Glow of Authenticity," with events taking place in the heart of Sharjah.
