Sharjah24: Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in Kalba, and Hind Salem Al Awani, Director of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage Dibba Al Hisn Branch, attended the launch of Sharjah Heritage Days in Dibba Al Hisn on Thursday, marking the start of a programme of cultural, traditional, and interactive activities.

The event features a variety of workshops, exhibitions by artisans and productive families, personal museums, and displays of local heritage, offering visitors insight into the region's customs and traditions.

Three-day programme blending learning and entertainment

Hind Salem Al Awani said the activities will continue for three days until 15 February 2026. She explained that the programme aims to strengthen the presence of heritage within the community and to raise cultural awareness across all segments of society.

Al Awani noted that the agenda includes activities highlighting both the agricultural and marine environments, delivering an educational and entertaining experience for visitors.

She added in statements to “Sharjah24” that the events have seen strong engagement from residents and visitors, who have enjoyed the vibrant heritage atmosphere and the variety of workshops, shows, and exhibitions, creating a well-rounded experience that combines learning with entertainment.
