The festival coincides with the UAE’s “Year of Family,” reflecting SCCI’s commitment to strengthening family bonds and promoting social cohesion, while offering comprehensive retail options for households. It features major shopping malls, retail outlets, and a wide range of local and international brands, alongside productive families, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.
His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, said the festival is a key annual initiative that supports the growth of the retail sector, boosts tourism and stimulates commercial activity during Ramadan.
Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General for Communication and Business at SCCI, noted that the festival is part of the Sharjah shopping promotions campaign, running from 1 December 2025 to 25 March 2026. The campaign combines discounts, cultural activities, competitions and prize draws to enhance visitor engagement and support the retail sector.
Jamal Saeed Bouzanjal, Director of Corporate Communication at SCCI and General Coordinator of the festival, said this year’s edition focuses on the flagship initiative “Shop… and Unlock the Secrets,” hosted across six shopping centres. The initiative offers shoppers valuable gifts, vouchers and interactive experiences.
The festival will conclude with a grand draw awarding 15 winners, including 10 gold bar recipients and five winners of AED 10,000 shopping vouchers each.
Under the festival’s umbrella, visitors can attend the “Ramadan Nights” exhibition at Expo Centre Sharjah, which offers additional opportunities to enter prize draws.
Other highlights include the “Young Influencer” initiative for children, the “Your Iftar Is Ready” charitable event, and the appearance of the popular mascot “Shamsa” at the Light Village during the Sharjah Light Festival.
The festival also extends to the Eastern Region through sporting, cultural and religious events, including the Sharq Ramadan Football Championship, a youth football tournament, and a Quran recitation competition. Additional contests support home-based businesses and productive families, alongside community activities that promote social cohesion.
