The initiative marks the first time this resource will be available in Arabic and aims to standardise concepts and strengthen coordination among professionals across the region.
In statements to Sharjah 24, Al Muhrizi said the project marks a qualitative step towards addressing a gap that has previously hindered effective professional collaboration in child protection. The foundation will fund and facilitate the initiative in partnership with ECPAT International and regional experts.
The process will include precise translation, specialised technical review, and participatory verification. The Arabic edition is scheduled for release by the end of the year and will be made freely available to institutions and practitioners.
The initiative aims to support professionals in child protection, policy-making, legal, health and media sectors by promoting consistent and more accurate terminology. She noted that this will strengthen prevention efforts and improve the efficiency of protection and response systems across Arab countries.
