Sharjah 24 - Italian cyclist Jonathan Milan claimed victory in the fourth stage of the UAE Tour on Thursday, continuing his impressive form in the 2026 edition. Meanwhile, fellow Italian Antonio Tiberi retained the red jersey as overall leader.

Stage four highlights

Riding for Lidl-Trek, Milan completed the 182 km race in the Emirate of Fujairah in 4 hours, 3 minutes, and 6 seconds. His lightning-fast sprint in the final meters secured first place, replicating his victory in the same stage last year.

  • 3rd place: Matteo Milan (Groupama FDJ, Italy), Jonathan’s brother
  • 4th place: Gerben Thissen (Albicene-Premier Tech, Belgium)

Upcoming stages

Stage five, scheduled for Friday in Dubai, will cover 166 km and offer sprinters another chance for victory. Stage six on Saturday promises a dramatic showdown on the final climb to Jebel Hafeet, a 10.6 km ascent with an average gradient of 6.9%, where overall leaders will battle for supremacy.
