Khalid bin Humaid approves Kalba Festival organising committee

An array of experts

The committee will be chaired by Dr Saif Ahmed Al Zaabi, a member of the Board of Directors, and will include the following members: Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al Darmaki, Festival Director; Ahmed Hassan Al Matroushi, Head of the Performance Management Unit; Bakheet Saeed Al Qurs, Head of the Coordination and Follow-up Office; Mohammed Abdulhadi Al Shawka, Head of the Sports Committee; Ahmed Ali bin Haider, Head of the Finance and Procurement Committee; Jassim Mohammed Al Shehhi, Head of the Support Services Committee; Abdullah Ali Al Baloushi, Head of the Public Relations Committee; Yaqoub Yousef Al Baloushi, Head of the Media and Marketing Committee; Abdullah Rashid Al Kindi, Head of the Events and Experience Committee; Hamad Salem Al Bimani, Head of the Emergency and Crisis Committee; and a representative from the Eastern Region Police Department – Kalba Comprehensive Centre, who will chair the Security and Safety Committee. A representative from Kalba Hospital – Emirates Health Services Corporation was appointed Chairman of the Medical Committee, and Mohammed Salah Munir was appointed Rapporteur.

The meeting also discussed the report submitted by Dr Abdullah bin Sultan, Vice Chairman of the Council, on updates to the governance system (the new administrative and financial regulations for Sharjah clubs), and the report submitted by Dr Abdullah Mohammed Al-Malih on the draft law regulating the Council and members' comments on it. Dr Abdulrahman Al-Yasi was tasked with following up on the organising committee's preparations for the new edition of "Our Summer is Different."
