Since the start of the Iranian attack, 262 ballistic missiles have been detected, with 241 destroyed. Nineteen fell into the sea and two landed within the UAE. A total of 1,475 Iranian drones were also detected, with 1,385 intercepted, while 90 fell within the country. Additionally, eight cruise missiles were detected and destroyed.
These attacks resulted in six deaths among UAE, Pakistani, Nepali and Bangladeshi nationals, and 122 minor to moderate injuries among individuals of various nationalities, including Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comorian, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepali, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian and Palestinian.
The Ministry of Defence affirmed that it remains fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats and will respond firmly to anything that seeks to undermine the country’s security, safeguarding its sovereignty, stability and national interests.
