Sharjah24: Sharjah Radio continues to strengthen its media presence with a distinguished selection of purposeful programmes in April, catering to the interests of various segments of society, with a special focus on youth and families. These programmes offer educational and awareness-raising content that combines informative and interactive programming.

Youth discussion

Among these programmes is "Youth Discussion," a live broadcast aimed at young people and teenagers. It offers an interactive platform that helps develop their skills and enhance their experiences by facilitating discussions on topics that interest them. The programme also features a selection of experts and specialists across various fields. Its goal is to provide insights and ideas that help create a better future for young people. The programme is produced and presented by a group of young people and airs every Saturday at 5:30 PM.

Family leadership

In its focus on family, Sharjah Radio also presents the programme "Family Leadership," which highlights real-life situations within homes and offers practical steps to help families deal with them more consciously and calmly. The programme conveys the message that a strong family begins with conscious leadership. Presented by Dr Jamila Khalaf Al Hosani, the programme airs daily at 11:30.

Pioneers in education

The programming schedule also features segments titled "Pioneers in Education," highlighting inspiring examples of prominent women who have made significant contributions to culture and science, and who were among the first pioneers in educational and intellectual achievements. The programme is produced and presented by Mariam Al-Ajal and broadcasts daily at 3:00 PM.

Pulse of health

On the health front, the programme "Pulse of Health" provides quick and helpful medical advice on the most common illnesses and how to manage them, helping to raise health awareness among listeners. It is hosted by Dr Amira Al-Khaja and airs daily at 9:30 AM.

 Ms Amal Abdul Rahman Al Owais, Director of Sharjah Radio, affirmed that the programmes produced by Sharjah Radio reflect the station's commitment to its purposeful media mission. She emphasised the dedication to providing high-quality content that meets the needs of all segments of society, with a focus on empowering youth and strengthening the role of the family through interactive programmes that enrich knowledge and develop skills.

Youth discussion

Al Owais added: "The 'Youth Discussion' program is at the forefront of these efforts, as it provides a constructive dialogue space that contributes to preparing a conscious generation capable of expressing their ideas confidently and responsibly." She emphasised that the radio station continues to develop its content to meet the aspirations of its audience and enhance its role as a media platform that contributes to spreading awareness and building a cohesive and educated society.
