Abdullah bin Zayed condemns organisation linked to IRGC in Bahrain

Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has expressed the UAE’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and its support for measures taken by Bahraini security authorities to uncover a group linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the “Wilayat al-Faqih” ideology.

UAE backs Bahrain’s security actions

He affirmed the UAE’s support for all steps taken by Bahrain to safeguard its security, sovereignty, stability, and the safety of its society, praising the efficiency and vigilance of Bahraini security services in exposing the network and initiating legal proceedings against its members.

UAE rejects terrorism and foreign-linked organisations

Sheikh Abdullah stressed the UAE’s categorical rejection of all forms of terrorism and organisations linked to external agendas, calling for stronger regional and international cooperation to confront such threats.

Bahrain’s security seen as part of Gulf security

He concluded by emphasising that Bahrain’s security is an integral part of the security of the UAE and the wider Gulf states, reaffirming continued UAE support for Bahrain’s efforts to maintain stability and protect its national gains.
