Al Khalidiyah Council brings joy to residents during Eid

Sharjah 24: Al Khalidiyah Council, affiliated with Sharjah Districts Affairs Department (SDAD), launched its “Let’s Bring Them Joy During the Holidays” initiative for the sixth time. This initiative is part of the Council’s ongoing humanitarian and community initiatives aimed at bringing joy and happiness to deserving families during Eid Al Adha. This initiative reflects the Al Khalidiyah Council’s continuous community efforts and its commitment to strengthening the values of solidarity and social cohesion.

Consolidating the principles of cooperation, compassion, and community engagement

This initiative aligns with Al Khalidiyah Council’s objectives of consolidating the principles of cooperation, compassion, and community engagement under the umbrella of the Department of Suburbs Affairs. It supports and assists deserving families, contributing to meeting their basic needs and holiday requirements, and bringing joy to the hearts of family members and their children. The initiative included the distribution of financial aid totaling AED 108,500 to eligible families to support them and enable them to purchase their necessities before Eid, in accordance with the families' requirements and the needs of their members.

This contributes to strengthening social stability and spreading happiness among them.

Strengthening the spirit of social responsibility

His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of Al Khalidiyah Council, affirmed that the "Let's Make Them Happy During the Holidays" initiative embodies the council's social and humanitarian mission. It reflects the importance of establishing a culture of social solidarity and strengthening the spirit of social responsibility, especially during blessed occasions that exemplify the values of giving, compassion, and cooperation among members of society.

Al Marri noted that implementing the initiative for the sixth time is a continuation of the success and positive impact achieved in its previous editions. It also aligns with the council's commitment to continuing to implement purposeful community initiatives that contribute to enhancing the quality of life and bringing happiness and peace of mind to eligible families, coinciding with preparations for these joyous days.
