Sharjah spreads joy and happiness on 54th Eid Al Etihad

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah Committee for the 54th UAE National Day Celebrations, announced the start of festivities across several parks in Sharjah, including Al Suyoh Family Park, the National Park, Kashisha Park, and Al Layyah Canal.

The celebrations will also reach other cities and regions within the emirate, featuring various events, folk performances, and national songs, with participation from multiple departments and institutions.

Official attendance and participation

Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Districts Affairs Department, attended the celebrations at Al Suyoh Family Park alongside officials and representatives from government entities.

Greetings and wishes

His Excellency Khalid Jasim Al Midfa extended warm congratulations and best wishes to the Rulers of the Emirates, the Supreme Council members, and the people and residents of the UAE, expressing prayers for the nation’s continued security, safety, progress, and prosperity.

Expansion of celebrations

Al Midfa highlighted that the celebrations have expanded to include more areas across Sharjah’s cities and regions, spreading joy and happiness throughout the emirate. This growth was made possible through the support and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Executive Council.

Activities and focus

In statements to “Sharjah 24,” Al Midfa explained that the festivities in Sharjah include events in Al Suyoh Family Park, National Park, Kashisha Park, and Al Layyah Canal, as well as in other parts of the emirate. The celebrations feature diverse activities emphasising national identity and the authentic heritage of Emirati society.
