Specifically, the work on the administrative building included replacing all flooring, upgrading the restrooms, improving the IT and air conditioning systems, and updating the electromechanical systems to meet the latest standards. In the gymnasium, the wooden flooring was replaced according to international specifications, the building was insulated, and the internal lighting and air conditioning systems were upgraded to ensure an ideal and safe environment for children during physical activities.
Regarding the swimming pool, the development work included replacing the surrounding flooring, upgrading the pool's internal structure, implementing necessary insulation work, and replacing the internal lighting systems, all of which contribute to improving safety and comfort.
In this context, Engineer Hadef Al Khader, Director of the Building Maintenance Department at SDPW stated that the completion of the maintenance and development project for Al Raqqa Children’s Centre is part of a series of projects implemented by the department to provide a safe and comprehensive educational and recreational environment for children.
Al Khader confirmed that the SDPW is keen to apply the highest quality standards in the execution of the work, in line with the Sharjah government’s vision to enhance the infrastructure of community and service facilities.”
