Sharjah 24: In a move reflecting the Emirate of Sharjah's commitment to developing infrastructure and enhancing the quality of government services, the Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) announced the completion of a new Patrols Department building, affiliated with the Traffic and Patrols Directorate. The building features a modern design and integrated facilities that meet the highest service and operational standards.

Modern facilities designed for customers

The building consists of a ground floor that includes a customer reception and service area, administrative offices, a fully equipped meeting room, a customer lounge and cafeteria, and a children's waiting area, providing a safe and comfortable environment while conducting transactions. The building also includes several service rooms to meet daily operational needs.

Enhanced security and accessibility

The project also includes a separate service building containing a guard room, in addition to guard rooms located at the main gates, enhancing security and safety measures around the facility. To ensure easy access and smooth traffic flow, 72 parking spaces have been allocated, along with a rear perimeter wall that guarantees privacy and complements the site's architectural style.

Supporting sustainable development goals

This project is part of a series of development initiatives implemented by the department, with the aim of providing an integrated work environment that supports the efficiency of institutional performance and contributes to improving customer experience, in line with the department’s vision of sustainable leadership in the development of the emirate.
