SDPW partakes in Strategic Business Leadership Program in Spain

The program was designed and held by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by its Sharjah Training and Development Center.

The delegation from the department included Shaima Nabil, Head of the Human Resources Department, and Issa Sharar, Head of the Quality and Excellence Department, as part of a select group of representatives from government departments in the Government of Sharjah.

The program, hosted by one of the leading academic institutions specializing in management and innovation, aims to enable government leaders to adopt advanced methods in strategic planning, decision-making, and change management, in addition to enhancing the ability to lead teams and achieve institutional excellence in fast-paced and changing work environments.

The program included a series of lectures and interactive workshops, along with field visits to several leading Spanish institutions in infrastructure and project management.

Through these international engagements, the Department of Public Works seeks to enhance its institutional capabilities and implement the latest leadership concepts to raise the quality of projects and services provided to the community, in line with the Emirate’s aspirations for sustainable development and government excellence.
