The match, held at Sharjah’s home court as part of the second round of the league’s return stage, marked the team’s second victory over the same opponent this season, after its 59–34 win in the first leg. The result demonstrates the team’s consistent technical development and strong competitive readiness since the beginning of the championship.
Sharjah delivered a well-rounded performance throughout all four quarters, successfully establishing its offensive and defensive rhythm early on through organised play and high levels of concentration. The quarters finished 15–10, 16–10, 13–10, and 22–17, giving Sharjah a comfortable control of the match and allowing the team to maintain a steady lead until the final whistle.
The players showed notable cohesion and increasing physical and technical presence, especially during critical moments when Sharjah managed to contain the opponent’s attempts to close the gap.
Commenting on the match, head coach Ziad Al Nattour said: "The players delivered a performance that reflects the focus and balance we have worked on since the start of the season. Their discipline in executing instructions and controlling the game’s tempo was evident throughout all four quarters. We view every match as a step towards reinforcing the team’s stability, and we aim to maintain this level as we enter a decisive phase of the league. Our next match against Khorfakkan will be a significant challenge, and I am confident in the players’ ability to perform at the level that befits the team.”
The team now concentrates on their upcoming match against second-placed Khorfakkan Women’s Sports Club, which is expected to be a highly competitive encounter given the strong performances demonstrated by both teams this season.
