Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of the Sharjah Equestrian Club, heads the Championship’s organising committee, while Sultan Al Yahyai, Director General of the Sharjah Equestrian Club, manages it. The event runs from 18 to 21 December under the supervision of both the International and Emirati Federations, with the participation of 140 riders accompanied by 210 horses from 34 countries.
The organising committee announced in a statement that the Championship continues to host its international competitions on Kalba Beach in its second edition there, and its third since its launch with a Two-Star international classification in 2023. Simultaneously, an international One-Star competition will take place, featuring both beginner and junior categories.
The committee added that the Three-Star Championship includes six international competitions with prizes totalling €140,000, with obstacle heights ranging from 130 cm to 150 cm in the Longines Grand Prix, which offers €60,000 in prizes. Meanwhile, the One-Star international event also features six competitions, with obstacle heights ranging from 115 cm to 125 cm, and total prizes of €11,000.
