SSC holds a successful workshop in elite physical training

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council hosted a successful workshop to get ready for a new physical training program aimed at helping top athletes. This event was organized in collaboration with the UAE Elite and High-Level Sports Committee and took place at the Sharjah Cultural Chess Club.

The workshop was attended by 45 coaches from various individual sports clubs throughout the emirate.

This initiative is part of the Council's efforts to support talented athletes and prepare them for a special elite program.

Notable attendees included Fares Al Zaabi, who is in charge of Strategic Projects and Partnerships at the UAE Committee; James Baker, who oversees Talent Identification and Athlete Development; and Omran Al Jasmi, the Director of Sports Affairs and Development at the Sharjah Sports Council. Other team members from the Council, including Huthaifa Al Kindi, Al Waleed Bin Mohammed Al Mashhout, and Emad Othman, were also present at the workshop.
