These included high- and low-voltage extensions and the replacement of overhead lines in the Central Region with underground cables. Services were connected to 99 projects across different sectors, and 56,457 metres of cable were laid in the Central Region cities of Al Bataeh, Al Madam, Mleiha, and Al Dhaid, at a total cost exceeding AED 13.704 million.

Engineer Khalifa Mohammed Al Tunaiji, Director of the Central Region Department at SEWA, explained that the Authority is continuing to implement development projects in the Central Region and is providing all the necessary resources to execute them to the highest standards.

Ensuring high-quality services to all areas of Sharjah

Al Tunaiji affirmed that the development work underway on energy projects in the Central Region is being carried out in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and with the continuous follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), to ensure the provision of high-quality services across all areas of the Emirate of Sharjah.

Sustainability of services according to the highest standards
