SEWA and Higher Colleges host safety workshop

Sharjah24: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA), in collaboration with Higher Colleges of Technology – Sharjah campus, organised a workshop titled “Occupational Safety” as part of ongoing efforts to promote health and safety concepts across workplace environments.

Held at the HCT campus, the workshop saw participation from students as well as SEWA employees and engineers from various departments. The authority’s involvement aims to support occupational safety initiatives, share expertise, and strengthen collaboration between government entities and academic institutions to develop practices and solutions that contribute to a safe and sustainable working environment.

The partnership with HCT – Sharjah leverages the institution’s leading academic position in the UAE, its role in preparing highly qualified national talent, and its commitment to projects that foster innovation and excellence across sectors.
