Sharjah24: Sharjah Children, an organisation affiliated with the Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, is preparing to launch its annual festival, which combines learning and fun and offers a rich experience for children aged 6 to 12 from both members and the public. The festival will take place from 17 to 18 January at Al Suyuh Family Park, with wide participation from local and community institutions.

The festival aims to showcase children’s creativity and achievements across various tracks and to develop their physical, artistic, and linguistic skills through a comprehensive programme of interactive workshops and creative activities. These activities provide children with space to explore their abilities in art, literature, sports, and life skills. The festival also serves as a platform to highlight the role of Sharjah Children in serving children and as a means of strengthening communication and interaction between families and the local community.

Institutional vision

In this context, Khawla Sharif Al Hawai, Director of Sharjah Children, said that the festival reflects the institution’s vision of providing comprehensive educational experiences that nurture children’s abilities and talents within an interactive environment that blends learning with entertainment. She stated:
“We are keen, through this festival, to offer high-quality workshops and programmes that contribute to refining and developing children’s skills, while strengthening the role of the family as an active partner in supporting their growth and development. We also aim to provide an interactive community experience that helps instil positive values and build inspiring educational memories for children with a lasting impact.”

Al Hawai added:
“The choice of parks and public spaces to host our events stems from our belief in the importance of using open environments as vibrant educational spaces that offer children greater opportunities for exploration, interaction, and movement; support their integration and connection with their surroundings; enable us to expand our reach to different segments of society; and strengthen the institution’s presence.”

Commitment to building a confident generation

She concluded by affirming that the festival reflects Sharjah Children’s commitment to providing high-quality platforms that contribute to developing children’s abilities and strengthening their engagement with educational and cultural activities, supporting the institution’s direction toward preparing a confident and creative generation.
