Sharjah 24: In a humanitarian gesture embodying the values of giving and social solidarity, Sharjah Children, an affiliate of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, in cooperation with the Sharjah Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP), organised a visit to Mediclinic Dubai Hospital as part of the “Fun Cart” initiative, targeting children with cancer.

The visit included a range of interactive and creative activities designed to enhance the children's experience within the hospital. These included various art workshops such as "Decorating Crowns," "My Colorful Pencil Case," and "Colourful Cups," providing them with a space to express themselves and showcase their skills in a stimulating and positive environment. The visit concluded with the distribution of gifts to the children, a step aimed at bringing joy to their hearts and boosting their optimism.

Providing moral and psychological support

The “Fun Cart” initiative comes as part of Sharjah Children's commitment to providing moral and psychological support to sick children. This contributes to alleviating their suffering and supporting them in their treatment journey. The initiative also seeks to instill the values of mercy and compassion in children, and to promote community awareness of the importance of supporting cancer patients; and to encourage community members to actively participate in humanitarian initiatives that promote social cohesion and solidarity.
