Sharjah Public Works organises group Iftar for its workers

Sharjah 24: Under the slogan "Happiness in Giving," the Sharjah Department of Public Works organised a group Iftar for its workers at its main building in Al Nasiriyah. This initiative reflects the department's commitment to fostering a spirit of brotherhood and social solidarity among its employees during the holy month of Ramadan.

The initiative is part of the department's efforts to cultivate a positive work environment and strengthen bonds among its members. The event was marked by a warm and friendly atmosphere, with the participation of several officials and employees who shared Iftar with the workers in a spirit of cooperation and camaraderie.

Instilling the values of giving and tolerance

Mariam Al Mazmi, Director of the Corporate Communications Centre at the department, emphasised that this group Iftar reflects the department's commitment to supporting its workers and appreciating their efforts. It also aligns with the department's community programmes aimed at strengthening ties among all employees, thereby contributing to their motivation and boosting morale.

The department is keen to organise such events annually, stemming from its social responsibility and its commitment to instilling the values of giving and tolerance among its members, in keeping with the spirit of Ramadan, which promotes cooperation and human connection.
