In Kalba, UAE flag finds its way to every door

Sharjah 24: In response to the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Al Farish Suburb Council in Kalba, affiliated with the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department, organised a national initiative to distribute the UAE flag across the city, with wide community participation, aiming to promote values of belonging and national identity, where Dr Khalid Saif Al Zaabi, Chairman of Al Farish Suburb Council, said the initiative reflects the spirit of community cohesion and reinforces feelings of pride and patriotism.

Al Farish Suburb Council in Kalba organised a campaign this week to distribute UAE flags to both citizens and residents across the city, answering a call by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to fly the national flag above every home in the country.

Wide participation

Dr Al Zaabi explained that the initiative saw wide participation from residents of the suburb and the city, along with relevant authorities, including Civil Defence and Kalba Police, in a scene reflecting community cohesion and national belonging.

Gratitude

Dr Al Zaabi told “Sharjah 24” that the initiative expresses gratitude for the security and safety enjoyed by the UAE, and aims to reinforce values of loyalty and belonging, while strengthening national identity among community members.

The Chairman of Al Farish Suburb Council in Kalba added that such initiatives help strengthen community ties and spread feelings of pride and patriotism, praying to Almighty Allah to continue blessing the UAE with security and stability.
