His Excellency Prof. Esameldin Agamy, Chancellor of the University of Sharjah, toured the exhibition and commended the students’ efforts and creativity, emphasizing that these projects reflect the University’s strong educational outcomes. He also noted the University’s commitment to fostering innovation and encouraging students to transform ideas and academic research into practical solutions that serve the local community.
The event was attended by Prof. Nouar Tabet, Acting Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs; Prof. Abbes Amira, Dean of the College of Computing and Informatics; as well as representatives from the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (“Sheraa”).
The showcased projects included a centralized platform for efficient donation tracking and management, as well as a smart, AI-based supplier evaluation system designed for the surgical sector. Other projects focused on AI-driven human resource management systems and a smart platform for managing student inquiries and complaints.
The exhibition also featured innovative projects such as smart inventory and transaction management systems for small businesses, and a vehicle management and registration system. In addition, a financial reporting and KPI analysis system with AI-driven insights was presented, alongside an eco-track reward system to promote sustainability.
The event concluded with an awards ceremony honoring the winning projects. First place was awarded to the project “Design and Development of a Remote Identification Module for Authorized Drone Detection and Spoofing Prevention,” by students Fatima Al Zahra, Muzoon Al Mazrouei, and Fajr Al Shehhi. Second place went to the project “CCI GuideBot,” developed by students Hiba Juma, Anfal Al Dakhil, and Safaa Ahmed from the Department of Computer Engineering.
From the Department of Computer Science, first place was awarded to the project “Enhancing Heart Disease Classification with Large Language Model-Assisted Deep Learning,” by students Rania Akram, Yusra Khalid, Dalia Zaher, and Aya Al Hawarhofa. Second place was awarded to the project “AcadGovern+: A Web-Based Academic Governance and Faculty Performance Management System,” by students Ammar Al Yammahi, Marwan Al Shehhi, and Abdulrahman Saeed.
From the Department of Information Systems, first place was awarded to the project “Smart Student Inquiry and Complaint Management System,” by students Alia Al Ali, Hind Al Zarooni, and Hoor Al Zaabi. Second place went to the project “Al Qassimi Hospital Transplant Management System (HTMS),” by students Alia Al Ketbi, Shamma Abdullah, and Fatima Al Nuaimi.
