SDPW launches ‘Young Engineer’ in Khorfakkan

Sharjah24: As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance engineering awareness among young generations, the Branches Department at Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) organised the “Young Engineer: Engineer of the Future” initiative yesterday (Monday) in cooperation with Atika bint Zaid School, at the department’s Khorfakkan branch.

Students explore engineering through interactive activities

The event saw active participation from the school’s students through a series of engaging, hands-on activities exploring various engineering fields — including civil, architectural, electrical, and industrial engineering. The programme offered students an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of engineering through practical experiments and educational stations designed to inspire creative thinking and strengthen technical skills.
