Dawahi Festival 14 brings families together at Al Qarain 5 park

Sharjah24: Saif Ahmed Roubari, Head of the Public Relations Department at the Districts Affairs Department, announced that the 14th edition of the “Dawahi Festival” will take place from 5 to 29 December at Al Qarain 5 Park in the Muwaileh Suburb of Sharjah. The festival features the participation of more than 30 government entities and offers over 75 workshops and awareness lectures, in addition to major prizes for visitors. The announcement was made during the press conference held on Thursday at the Hanging Gardens in Kalba.

Details revealed during the Press Conference

Speaking during the press conference held at the Hanging Gardens, Roubari revealed that the 14th edition of the Dawahi Festival will host more than 30 government organisations presenting their platforms at the event, alongside 75+ educational workshops and lectures. These activities cover social, health, and cultural topics tailored for all family members.

Wide community participation

In exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24,” Roubari confirmed that over 20 sponsoring entities are contributing to the festival’s activities and guest programmes as part of extended community partnerships.

Dedicated zones for children and youth

Roubari noted that a fully equipped children’s zone titled “The World of Sweets and Pastries” has been designated, offering young visitors entertaining and interactive experiences. The festival also includes a new electronic gaming zone targeting youth and teenagers, along with daily circus performances, roaming acts, and the popular “Blue Birds” shows, enhancing the festival’s appeal as a comprehensive family entertainment destination.

Grand prizes and visiting hours

He concluded by announcing that 10 cars have been allocated as grand prizes for festival visitors, with the top prize being the luxury Geely Monjaro vehicle. Roubari invited families to visit the festival daily from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Al Qarain 5 Park and enjoy the diverse activities, prizes, and programmes prepared throughout the event.
