Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police General Command has been officially accredited by the Sharjah Child Friendly Office, part of the Sharjah Health Authority, in the first cycle of the “Sharjah Child and Family Friendly” programme. The recognition highlights the police’s ongoing efforts to support children, families, and the broader community protection system in the emirate.

Alignment with leadership directives

The accreditation aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, reflecting the police’s commitment to creating a safe and supportive environment that prioritises child well-being and family stability. It also reflects the efforts of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Family and Community Council, in empowering children and strengthening family roles in nurturing future generations.

Commitment to child and family services

The General Command praised the Sharjah Child Friendly Office for implementing this pioneering programme and reaffirmed its commitment to developing services and initiatives that protect children, empower families, and strengthen institutional partnerships, consolidating Sharjah’s position as a leading model in child and family care.
