This tour was also part of the foundation's efforts to enhance institutional partnerships and broaden public awareness of the endowment's mission. The introductory tour reviewed the foundation’s vision for the “Neighbors of the Prophet” endowment project and its lofty goals of empowering fatherless children and their families, in addition to introducing the foundation, its humanitarian and developmental initiatives, and its projects supporting affiliates across all aspects of empowerment provided.
The tour also offered an opportunity for direct dialogue with the organization’s leadership, police personnel, and visitors, highlighting the project’s impact in supporting the sustainability of humanitarian work and promoting a culture of social responsibility.
For her part, Mona bin Hadda Al-Suwaidi, Director General of the Foundation, stated: “Our continued implementation of awareness tours is in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to consolidate sustainable humanitarian and social work and to enhance the role of institutions in building and empowering people.”
She added that this vision forms the foundation upon which the foundation’s programmes and projects are built, most notably the “Neighbors of the Prophet” endowment project, which seeks to transform charitable giving into a lasting impact that benefits families in the Emirate of Sharjah and its surrounding areas in the Central and Eastern regions.
Al-Suwaidi further noted:“Our ongoing cooperation with the Sharjah Police General Command is a shining example of a successful institutional partnership based on integration, social solidarity, and teamwork to serve the community.”
She emphasised that such partnerships represent a fundamental pillar in achieving sustainable development and promoting human values, through an approach that balances humanitarian impact with sustainability, and contributes to supporting orphaned children and their families, empowering them to build a more stable and dignified future.
On the other hand, Colonel Dr Walid Khamis Al-Yamahi, Director of the Eastern Region Police Department, confirmed:“The support of the Sharjah Police General Command for such community initiatives embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in promoting the values of giving and human solidarity.”
He noted that the “Neighbors of the Prophet” endowment project represents a pioneering model of partnership between security and social entities in serving the community.
Colonel Al-Yamahi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation for its outstanding efforts in introducing the project to employees at the headquarters of the Eastern Region Police Department, and for the quality initiatives it provides that contribute to empowering children and caring for their families. He emphasised that Sharjah Police is committed to supporting every initiative that enhances quality of life and fosters solidarity among members of the community.
