Sharjah Public Works hosts “Strategic Objectives” workshop

Sharjah24: Sharjah Public Works Department organised a specialised workshop on strategic and operational objectives for strategic plans. This workshop forms part of the department's ongoing efforts to enhance institutional performance and ensure alignment between operational plans and the department's strategic plan.

The workshop reviewed the current work system, assessed progress in implementing initiatives and projects outlined in the department's strategic plan, and discussed operational challenges and ways to address them to ensure higher-quality services for the community. It also focused on strengthening integration across departments and updating performance indicators to align with best practices in planning and monitoring.

Supporting comprehensive development in the emirate

Participants affirmed the department's commitment to its vision of supporting comprehensive development in the emirate through sustainable infrastructure projects, streamlined work procedures, and the adoption of innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and transparency. The workshop emphasised the importance of sustained teamwork to achieve strategic objectives aligned with the Sharjah government's vision of improving public services and meeting community needs. This workshop is part of a series of training programmes held by the department to enhance its future readiness and ensure continuous improvement and development across the sectors and projects it oversees.
