Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Channel, part of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority (SBA), is providing comprehensive coverage of the 11th edition of Sharjah Tour, taking place from January 23 to 27. This coverage reflects the event's prestige and importance on both the sporting and media levels, while also showcasing the emirate's growing capacity to host international championships.

Reflecting the Tour's significance and the beauty of its routes

In this context, Mohammed Majid Al Suwaidi, Director of Sharjah Sports Channel, emphasised the channel's commitment to providing complete coverage of the Sharjah Tour. He stated that the coverage reflects the event's significance and the professionalism of its organisation, noting that the use of the latest media technologies and specialised personnel contributes to conveying a comprehensive picture that highlights the race's high level of competition and the beauty of its routes, further solidifying Sharjah's position as a leading sporting and tourist destination regionally and internationally.

The coverage includes live broadcasts of all stages of the Tour using the latest internationally recognised cycling broadcasting technologies, allowing viewers to follow the race in real time. A daily pre-stage analysis studio, featuring a panel of expert cycling analysts, will also be broadcast, discussing the technical and tactical aspects of the competition.

Using cutting-edge technology

The channel will also provide daily studio coverage from the finish line, including live broadcasts of the daily podium ceremony and the distribution of jerseys.
