Sharjah24: The Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council, affiliated with the Suburbs Affairs Department, organised a community engagement event titled Bridges of Goodness… Giving Begins at Home, in collaboration with Sharjah Charity International. The event was held at Al Wahah Palm Garden along the canal waterfront and was attended by parents, women and children.
The programme featured a series of purposeful activities, beginning with an introductory session that presented the council’s responsibilities and community initiatives. This was followed by a talk highlighting the value of charitable work and its lasting impact on community development.
The gathering was organised as part of the council’s efforts to foster a culture of giving, reinforce positive social values and emphasise the family’s role in building a close-knit society founded on cooperation and solidarity. It also aimed to celebrate heritage occasions and introduce younger generations to local traditions.
A range of light entertainment competitions, held under the theme Creative Moments, added a lively atmosphere, bringing joy to attendees and encouraging interaction and participation.
