Dibba Al Hisn concludes the 4th Ramadan football tournament

The tournament was conducted in a friendly and competitive atmosphere that reflected the spirit of Ramadan, blending sporting enthusiasm with community engagement.

Al Aqd Al Fareed crowned champions

Ahmed Abdullah bin Yaroof Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Municipal Council, and Talib Abdullah Al Yahyai, Director of Dibba Al Hisn Municipality, awarded the Al Aqd Al Fareed team as first-place winners, while the Qalat Dibba Al Hisn team finished in second place.

Individual awards

In the individual awards category, Walid Mohammed Al Ghoul was named Best Player; Salem Rashid Safar Al Yahyai received the Best Goalkeeper award; Obaid Mohammed Khalfan Al Ghoul, Hamdan Mohammed, and Salem Al Mansouri shared the Top Scorer honour; Sultan Ishaqouh Al Dhahouri was recognised as Best Administrator; and Al Hay Al Gharbi team won the Fair Play award.

Strengthening community bonds

Talib Abdullah Al Yahyai confirmed that organising the tournament demonstrates the municipality’s dedication to enhancing its community role and promoting values of unity and communication among the city's residents.

He observed that sports activities during the holy month of Ramadan help strengthen social bonds and encourage community members to adopt a healthy and active lifestyle.

Al Yahyai stated that the tournament acts as a social and sporting platform that unites various age groups in a constructive, competitive environment, fostering respect, tolerance, and teamwork.

He also commended the strategic partnership with Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, emphasising its vital role in supporting and ensuring the event's success.

The organising committee, he added, worked to provide all the necessary elements to ensure the tournament was delivered with high organisational standards worthy of the city.
