Dibba Al Hisn continues maintenance after recent weather

Sharjah24: Mohammed Abdullah Al Dhuhouri, Director of Government Communication at the municipality, confirmed that rainwater has been completely cleared from streets, squares, and affected areas, with traffic returning to normal across the city.

The Dibba Al Hisn Municipality has commenced the recovery phase after the recent weather system, completing the removal of rainwater and continuing maintenance works to restore normal life and uphold the city’s urban appearance.

Ongoing maintenance and repair works

Field teams continue road levelling, repairing damaged infrastructure, and addressing uneven surfaces on roads and pavements. Efforts also include removing fallen trees caused by strong winds and completing the cleaning of affected sites.

Enhancing services and city readiness

Al Dhuhouri emphasised that maintenance work is ongoing across public facilities and parks to ensure readiness and improve service quality for residents.

He confirmed that all streets and residential areas are now accessible and free of standing water, with full readiness to welcome visitors and restore daily life, while ongoing fieldwork ensures the protection of infrastructure and the city’s overall appearance.
