Dibba Al Hisn Parents Council organises a youth session

Youth, parents, police discuss family stability in Dibba Al Hisn

Sharjah24: The Parents’ Council of Dibba Al Hisn, affiliated with the Districts Affairs Department, in cooperation with Dibba Al Hisn Comprehensive Police Station, organised a youth session on family matters and the role of young people in strengthening family cohesion. The session was attended by officials, youth, and parents interested in community affairs.

The session, titled Family, focused on several important topics, including the risks of online fraud and ways to protect family members from it. Participants also discussed the role of young people in supporting family cohesion and promoting positive values within the community, as well as the role of parents in instilling constructive thinking and behaviour in family members.

Active participation and guidance

The discussion saw active contributions from attendees, enriched by constructive opinions and interventions. Participants included the Council Chair, H.E. Ahmed Abdullah Alnaqbi; Colonel Tarek Abdullah Al Ahbesh, Head of Dibba Al Hisn Comprehensive Police Station; and Fatima Al Tanaiji, a member of Youth Councils. The session was moderated by Abdulrahman Al Mushtaghil, Head of the Youth Council at Sharjah Police, who guided the discussion and helped achieve the session’s objectives.

Objectives and outcomes

The session aimed to raise community awareness of the family’s role in promoting cohesion and social solidarity, foster effective partnerships between the community and security authorities, and empower young people to play a positive role in protecting families and society.

Appreciation and recognition

At the conclusion of the session, thanks and appreciation were extended to attendees and participants, and speakers and contributors were honoured for their efforts and their role in the session’s success and the achievement of its goals.
